It has been a tough year for all teachers, not just here in Australia, but around the globe. On 30th October 2020, it is World Teachers’ Day. A time to celebrate and thank them for their efforts across the country and wherever they are.
World Teachers’ Day is celebrated across more than 100 countries and was established by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) in 1994.
UNESCO has also played a strong in developing teacher competencies in ICT and promoting the integration of ICT in Education.
Internationally, World Teachers’ Day is celebrated on 5th October. However, Queenslanders will celebrate it on 30th October.
